The tourism industry is made up of many businesses offering all sorts of things from experiences, to beds and to services that support the visitor economy.  Being a member of  Hawke’s Bay Tourism helps to grow the total pie – so all of us benefit from a strong industry.

Your financial contribution goes towards ensuring we have the funds to promote the region via advertising and public relations opportunities and to developing the best possible digital platform to showcase what we have.

As of October 2017 we are simplfying our membership. We are launching a pretty exciting new digital platform and we want all members to play an active part in showcasing Hawke’s Bay on http://www.hawkesbaynz.com. You may have had a sneak peek already, but in case you haven’t, you can check out a few draft here. As you’ll see, it’s not your average tourism website – our site has a fresh new look, and we’ve built in some exciting new functionality to improve the user experience.

The purpose of the site is to inspire people to visit to Hawke’s Bay, and to provide useful and engaging content to help plan their Hawke’s Bay experience. Showcasing local businesses is an important aspect of this content, particularly those businesses who offer products and services that help to enrich the Hawke’s Bay visitor experience – so we want you to be involved.

With over 300,000 visits per annum, the Hawke’s Bay Tourism website is a powerful platform to promote your business to the world, and this will only grow following the launch of the new site. To take advantage of this opportunity, you simply need to become a member of the Hawke’s Bay Tourism Industry Association (HBTIA), and then create your very own website listing. Here’s all the info you need to get started:

HBTIA Membership options
The Member section of the new website is now open and you can sign up from today. Registrations and listings must be completed by 1 October to be included in the launch of the new website.

Need help?
The enrolment process is nice and easy, but if you have any issues, please email mylisting@hawkesbaytourism.co.nz, and someone from the Hawke’s Bay Tourism team will call you back within one business day.
