Tourism generated over $664m per annum for Hawke’s Bay’s economy in the 12 months to August 2019, a year-on-year increase of +3%.
70-75% of our visitors come from around New Zealand, while international visitors predominantly come from Australia, the USA, the United Kingdom and Germany, with China emerging as a new tourism market for Hawke’s Bay.
